Freshwater... or the lack thereof.
As the world's population continues to increase and many areas of the world are facing sustained droughts, the world is facing an unprecedented water crisis. Explore these National Geographic websites and leave a response on the blog to each page:
1. The Signs and Solutions page has an interactive map. Read the description of the U.S.' water issues and compare the issues faced in the U.S. to the issues faced by another country. Also generalize what is happening to water resources over time by clicking on the different years (1960, 2006, 2050).
2. The Freshwater page features several videos on water issues around the world. Watch at least two of the videos and comment on anything that may have surprised you in the videos.
